Summer (if you want to call it that)

I cannot believe this weather! While the rest of the U.S. is in sweltering heat I was tempted to turn on the fireplace today. What we have been up to... Abby had a audiology hearing test last week and she passed! There has been some concern with her hearing- she turns her head to one side if she is intently listening to something, and she didn't pass the dr office hearing test on the lowest tone.
I made Lobster Macaroni and Cheese tonight- looks fabulous but was really, really rich. At the last minute I wanted to split the dish and make a freezer meal but I was too lazy. Rick left work early on Saturday. I'm trying to schedule more activities in this summer so the kids aren't going bonkers. We took them roller skating (which they loved and keep asking to go back) and to this pizza play place where they played and we sat there like zombies. What else...oh Cooper's 2nd birthday was Saturday as well. Abby made him a card and the kids gave him 'presents'. Rick even stopped on his way home from work and bought him something. (He really does like him deep down, wayyyy deep down). Other than that, instead of replacing their little swing set we got rid of with another one or a trampoline, we decided on a little bounce house. And we are waiting for summer to show up. Anytime now. Please.
