Summer Week 3

Schlepping kids. Football camp and horse camp. Mammogram for me. Physical therapy for hubs. Dogs came home from their 3 week boarding training. Abby left for church camp for a week.

Summer Week 2

Soccer camp and a very quick road trip (think in the car for 14 hours just for an overnight trip). Went to see Great Great Uncle who is transitioning to an assisted living home and getting his house on the market. He passed down some family items and we went to pick them up. Crazy week to say the least. Especially coming home at 9pm last Wednesday from gymnastics to find out my husband sold our minivan while I was gone.

Summer Week 1

Last week was crazy. Had so much going on with end of school, hubs work schedule, him replacing arborvitae, trying to help his mom and her computer (he ended up just hiring someone to fix it all), getting our vehicle (finally) into the body shop from the accident in May. We had big plans on Saturday- Abby had a gymnastics showcase, and we had amazing tickets to the Timbers game. Kids have been SO SO SO excited for that. It all came to a halt when Aidan landed at urgent care. I've never seen him in so much tummy pain. This is the 3rd time they have ruled out appendicitis. Deemed most likely a virus. 5 DAYS OF IT. Hubs went to the gym meet while I stayed home and frantically tried to sell our tickets online.
We left Sunday for our mini summer family vacation and let's just say it was rough. He didn't eat. Needed to lay day down or sit most the time, this in turn made us fret and not want to eat so the only person we had to feed all 4 days was Abby :-)  We tried cabin camping which apparently is called "glamping" we stayed in our favorite hotel on the coast and then we drove 4 hours to the mountain. He was a trooper despite how miserable he was.
Glad to be home. Back to work.
