      Sunday Funday

Today was such a great day... I changed the clocks on Saturday so we would make it church today with no issues- and it's just easier on everyone. After church we took the kids to Krispy Kreme for their first visit and found this park called Pirate Park. It was really cold though so we didn't stay long. We made it to the library, I made 2 pans of cheese enchiladas (from Taste of Home website- yummy), was able to get dinner prepped in the crock pot for Monday, Rick got some yardwork done, we went on a 2 mile walk and then Abby practiced riding her bike. Aidan has no desire to ride his bike- he prefers getting hauled around in the wagon. Smart kid???

      My Turn

Y'all know how I tease Rick when he says "I picked up more milk for the girls" or blah blah "the girls" Let's face it, he's had girls a lot longer than I have so it's referenced out of habit. Yesterday as I was driving home from work I was thinking about Jessica and Ashley- wondering how Jess was doing in NY, and thinking I needed to chat with Ashley to catch up since it's been awhile.

Anyway I get home and both kids greet me at the door and I look straight at Aidan and I say "How are my girls?" HA!

He just teeters off and continues on with his race cars... maybe he is used to it- we call him so many names around here, Scuffy, Bumpy... somtimes I call him Cuddles or Bubbie. Doesn't matter to him if he's one of the girls... after all there was that one phase...

      Ear Indicator

These were taken before he got sick. When Aidan gets tired one of his ears will turn red- it's a great indicator/signal for us.

Today@ home. Sick day... Sweet Boy

      I'm not in control

Both kids diagnosed with walking pneumonia this week.... As a parent you can't help but worry but I also remind myself that I am not the one in control. Hard for someone who likes to be.

When anxiety was great within me your consolation brought joy to my soul.
