Summer Week 7

Aidan had Jordan Kent camp this week. Abby came to work with me. Thursday night she had a "late over" with a friend so hubs and I took Aidan to dinner, ice cream, and grocery shopping. Daddy did s'mores last night. It was one of the two Saturday's a month we have off together so we went to the zoo this morning. It rained the first time here in a long time. Back to 100 degrees next week. Abby had a make up gymnastics class in the afternoon. Weekends go by all too fast.

Summer Week 6

Aidan had church camp all this week.  Brought Abby with me to work. Wednesday had to juggle taking her back home to meet Hubs when he got done because she got sick. Thursday I had jury duty. The past two weeks have done a number on my level of stress. Waiving the white flag here. Cooper had a birthday and turned six. Abby had a girlfriend day today with a mom taking them to a movie, pizza and ice cream. I stayed home and elevated my foot and caught up on one photo book and my bible study. 100 degrees again!!!

Summer Week 5

One of the two weeks this summer I asked hubs to take time off so I didn't have to pay/shuttle/bring them to work. Except for Wed. They had to come with me Wednesday. Aidan had the most FABULOUS football camp in the evenings. Saturday was family day. We went to Slappy Cakes, blueberry picking and saw the Minions. Today was church and then the kids and I did a little back to school shopping with Grandma. Abby has a double ear infection (swimmer's ear)= not fun.

Summer Week 4

Last Sunday we were up at 5ish to go watch the balloon launch only they didn't launch due to wind. We went to breakfast instead. Had a Mommy/Aidan date that afternoon to see Inside Out. Aidan came to work with me Mon, Tues, Wed. He even had to sit through my hair appt. Poor kid. I wish I could enjoy summer more but when I'm having to juggle them at my work and also miss a lot of time due to camp shuttles it creates a high level of stress. I need to figure out something different for next year. My heart palpitations are out of control. Abby came home from church camp Wednesday. I had a REAL day off on Friday and was able to use my Mother's Day gift of a spa day. Made the Disneyland Dole Whip recipe. Would be nice to be at the Happiest Place on Earth right now.
Hubs working all weekend. No plans for the 4th.
