HAPPY FALL

Favorite time of year!!! Maintaining the same crazy schedule except their piano lessons have been cancelled the next two weeks- so a bit of a break. Already had sign ups for basketball and that doesn't even start until January.  Family coffee/hot chocolate run this morning, bakery to order Abby's bday cake, soccer game, and family photos (samples taken with iphone lol)

Gimpy

My husband has this new beautiful apparatus for the next 6 weeks. This is what happens when you let a running injury go almost AN ENTIRE YEAR. So yeah. This week seemed like it TOOK FOREVER. Same 'ol seven-day-a-week activities.
Got another 20 miles in. Seahawks donut after church. Football. Art class. Hubs finished Aidan's big boy (football) room. After their piano lessons on Friday we took them to see When the Game Stands Tall. Aidan's bestie who moved to a new school came to his soccer game today (we got creamed). Miss them so much. Cooper tried on his new halloween costume.

Football.

I logged 20 miles that first week of school. Haven't done that in months. Only got 15 in this week. Oh and it's football season. We have a certain little boy that watches Pac 12, NFL and plays his own football in the house. There are footballs whizzing by my head as I'm cooking dinner. Plus he's playing another season of flag football on Sunday's. Sunday is also my day to get it all done. Make lunches for the WHOLE week and prep/assemble dinners for the WHOLE week. Monday was school picture day, tutoring. Tuesday soccer. Wed Thurs gym, soccer, tutoring. Friday piano. We also went to the high school football game. Soccer game today they won! Abby went to a birthday party to see Dolphin Tale 2. I took Aidan to Barnes and Noble and grocery shopping. Getting things ready for another week...

September!!

Leaves are starting to turn- my absolute favorite time of year!! We got through the first week of school. Thankfully I had lunches and dinners prepped. All 7 days here we go...
Monday tutoring
Tuesday soccer
Wednesday gymnastics until 9pm
Thursday tutoring, soccer and gymnastics until 9pm
Friday piano
Saturday soccer
Sunday football
And if I could have fit in swim lessons I probably would have. So... no one to blame by myself (ourselves). Abby's class has two teachers who job share. The great thing about her class is homework is Mon-Thurs so no homework on the weekend except memorize bible verse and practice spelling. Aidan's anxiety was at a level 10 this week. Poor kid. I feel so bad that he takes after his mom in the worry/freaking out department. He was a WRECK. Didn't eat lunch for 2 days and this is his 3rd year at this school. Abby had ortho on Friday. Didn't get her final wire put on so she was sad. Soccer started today. They lost 8-5. Have painting contractors here for the 2nd day in a row. Not real thrilled with their service so cannot wait for it to be over.

First Day of School

First year I didn't cry. I feel like I should have received some sort of medal for reaching such a huge milestone.
