Last Halloween at our old house.
We moved. FINALLY. Four months after we started the whole ordeal. We've been here a week and are still settling in. As long as the kids were settled, and transitioned well- that was all that mattered to me. They did great. Celebrated hubby's birthday. Wrapping up soccer this weekend. Ready for basketball and gym meet season.

Busy
Is an understatement. Almost 4 months of house buying/selling. We finally have an "end" date yet it's still a month away. Aidan has pneumonia. He missed his soccer and football games this weekend. Abby is now sick. We are just plugging along with getting ready to move, activities, school, homework etc.... always something!

First Week
Hands down one of the best starts of a new school year ever. The kids are beyond happy and excited to go. Mama is happy for routine. Next up is adding moving to the chaos.

September
Still in limbo with our home(s). What a summer. Just got word that our first buyer backed out today. The status of our back-up buyer is unknown. More waiting. Not sure what God's plan is in all of this but I'm just resting in the outcome is His doing. Ready for school and routines. Had a quick getaway to the coast so our agent could hold our open house. Was sorta hard to enjoy knowing we were waiting on feedback and potential offers. School, soccer, gymnastics, football. Back at it.

The Summer That Wasn't.
So school starts in 3 weeks. (YESSSS!!!) Kidding. Sorta. I have no camps/daycare planned for the last two weeks so it's adding to my issues. I've been ill all summer- not sure if it's stress induced and making me sick or what... but I have daily nausea and dizziness. Plus a three-week chest cold.
This is the summer that all we did was work at our jobs, take the kids to camps (me), and get our house ready to sell. My body is SCREAMING for Vitamin D.
Completely pared down the camps this year which is bad from the standpoint of needing daycare and the stress it causes me but good on the pocket book I suppose :-)
