Home!!

Spent 10 days on the Big Island visiting my family. Met my mom there. Abby fainted the morning we left and she fainted again when we landed in Kona. Talk about scary. We had her checked out at a medical facility- they took blood and urine. So far determined it to be a virus- dehydration etc. Probably something that morphed from Aidan's tummy bug(s). We have a follow up with her pediatrician in another week. Sad to leave but it's also nice to be back in our groove. We have a full schedule coming of spring soccer, lacrosse, football, swimming, and more gym meets. Starting to plan out the summer daycare/camps because it will be here before I know it.

Goodbye Week.

Not sorry to see this week go. Except for the bright spots- like getting to schedule the removal of braces. Hubs going to her Poetry Tea. Her and I going to Secret Keeper Girl. Only to come home to Aidan throwing up again. Two tummy bugs in two weeks. It was awful. He missed 3 days of school and is still making his way back. Stressful, over emotional, and endless worry on my part.
Our ortho office rented out 2 theaters this morning for all the patients to see Cinderella. It was fun to have a little family time at the end of a brutal week. Aidan ate an actual meal tonight for the first time in 4 days.

March.

Wasn't it JUST Christmas???? Abby had her second gym meet last Sunday. She placed 10th All Around. Completely made up for failed vaults at her first meet. Scored 9.10! So fun (and nerve wracking) to watch but man, four hours each time is sooooo long. Didn't get home until 9pm and it was a school night. Aidan is now signed up for spring soccer, lacrosse, flag football and possibly swimming. Already trying to plan the summer calendar for summer camps/daycare. That was so completely stressful for me last year and here it is coming up again soon. We are still enjoying loads of sunshine and blue skies. 70 degrees all weekend! Wrapped up basketball. Made it to church on very little sleep. Ready for another week.

Yeah. Aidan went from a nasty cold to the tummy bug this week. NOT FUN.
Feel like I'm still trying to get my bearings. Definitely like slamming on the brakes to the family routine. Praying he's back to himself soon.

Taste of Summer

We've been spoiled with mid 60's blue skies and sunshine while it seems the rest of the US is in a snow and ice storm. Abby had her first meet of the season last Sunday. Completely botched both her vaults which dropped her all around score. She did place 6th on beam though! Sent them to art camp for President's Day. Kids had dental appts. The pup was spayed yesterday. Aidan has had a MISERABLE cold. Busy like usual.
